I have a 8100 bb, that it locks it self automaticly and there's no way to disable it.
My sister has the same phone and hers can disable it. What can I do

it likely has an IT Policy on the device from a corporate BES it was on. Did you buy it used?

that's correct I bought it used. I tried installing a new OS, but I couldnt.

You can "Remove" the IT policy that is dictating the password:

So what went wrong with the upgrade? (It wouldn't have cleared the policy anyway)

I have it installed in my pc already. However it removed my roxio program.

Ok, so are we trying to solve the Roxio issue or to get the password requirement off you BB?

I got in touch with my contact at RIM today and asked about this whole IT policy issue being permanently being installed on the device initially input. He told me, they are working on a fix for the individual so that IT policies can be removed without having to install a blank one.

So how do I add a program or game to my BB, just adding it to the Blackberry folder created in the C/programs folder?

I would look for programs available Over the Air (OTA) that way you just hit the link with you BB browser and say download and it will isntall. If you want to use the PC, just dump the program on your desktop and use the Desktop Manager to load it (make sure you get programs that are compatible with your model). To load hit application loader (while the phone is connected via USB) and it should find them to load.
