Hey guys. I just bought and installed, then reinstalled the contact mapper... because it didn't work. When I reinstalled it, it still didn't work. I rebooted my pearl how it told me to, I have the data plan and google and blackberry maps, I don't know if that matters or not, but it just won't work. I just keep receiving errors. I try to 'geocode' an address, and it tells me this:

Geocoding failed!
Error: java.io.IOException: Open tunnel - failure

Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

Maybe try uninstalling desktop manager and re-installing it? I'm not sure but its worth a try.

Desktop manager? Is that something that comes stock with the Pearl? It's not in the list of applications?
