Lightbulb Emails Not Deleting. Appearing as filed/saved

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,
Sorry for asking this but i have BES 4.1.1.9 working with Lotus notes. Have about 50 users with the blackberry pearl. Currently have 4/5 users who do cannot delete messages from their blackberry.

I have the blackberry's set to wireless reconcile with desktop mail and delete off both with the Handheld winning if there is a conflict. If the user deletes the email from the blackberry BEFORE opening it and readin it it will delete. If the users OPENS it and tries to delete it wont. It will sit on the blackberry with the saved/filed icon. However is will delete off the desktop. I rang BES support and they were a bit stumped and said try upgrade the version of the pearl. Anyone else have any ideas?

The issue you are describing is a known bug in Lotus Domino with BES 4.1
The problem was reportedly fixed with MR1 on BES 4.1.3.
You need at least MR1 for SP3 installed on the BES. (At this point, just go straight to SP4)

Once that's done, try reactivating the affected handhelds.

Thanks for that. Appreciate it. Will the upgrade affect the existing users in anyway?

Cannot connect to MDS Services.

And i cannot proceed with the upgrade. Any suggestions?
