Default Password question

Please Login to Remove!

I have a password set on my BB 8130. When I synchronize to my desktop the computer asks for my password. It won't take the password ( says it is incorrect) and I have to disconnect, remove the password, then hook up again and then synchronize.
The password I use are the keys that represent 0721 which , I think, is entered as 0cte, or +cte. Anyway, any assistance appreciated.

well, your SureType keys don't correspond to the PC keyboard... so,

IS the "0" a zero or an "O" (alpha character O, as in ohhh)?

Looks like you typed a "0" up there, but on the Suretype KB, you could be getting a space.

Try a different password on the device that you know you can duplicate easily on the PC and see if you can get in. Then you'll know if it's your particular password.

Good suggestion, John. I had to do this with a friend's BB the other day, and created a simple QQQ password that she could remember and type easily on the PC.

assuming you don't hit the alt keys than the 0 in 0721 is actually a space...and 721 should be cte as long as you hit each key just once....you will need to do symbol then 0 for it to be a +. i hope that figures out your problem with the password.
