Hi,

just bought my very frst bb pon ebay. it's new and all....first, before I charged the battery I was able to enter the phone and my sim card on it, take a look at the applicatons etc...after I charged it completely and entered my sim card again the keyboard is all locked so i can't enter the pin. I know the ways to unlock the keyboard and it doesn't work, doesn't react on anything
When I remove my sim the setup wizard appears but i am not able to enter it, my trackball moves but it does not enter on click.
generally what's going on! Help me please, I tried everywhere for online help but nothing seems to be match my problem.

Welcome to the BBF.

It is difficult to understand the issue you are having... is it asking for password to unlock the keyboard?

What SIM card are you trying to put in the device and what carrier is the BB branded to (on the face of the device)?

it asks for my pim but I can't enter it because the keyboard does not react. The thing is i cannot enter any password because the keyboard is blocked and the unlock clicks (* and send button) do not work.

I just don't know, hard to say from the info you are providing, but if it works when the SIM card is not in the device, i am going to guess there is some sort of IT Policy on the BB from the previous owner.

So it works perfectly well withOUT a SIM card loaded, you can move around the applications, etc. ?

And the carrier SIM and branding I asked about?

i don't exactly know what a carrier is (sorry i am on a polish network.
even when the sim is not in it doesn't work (it turns on but the keyboard is blocked even tough the trackball moves) , but before the charge it worked.

A carrier is your telephone company from which the SIM was purchased.

I suggest you return the BB to the eBay seller. It does not work properly and you have every right to get you money back and to purchase a BB that works.
