Default how to enable speaker phone - 02-26-2008, 04:41 PM

how do I turn on speaker phone on my pearl 8100? and, how do I turn it back off?

I read one other thread here that said it can get stuck in this mode, as a flaw with the phone. how common is that?

thank you so much!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

In a call press the op button. I've yet to have a problem with it getting "stuck" though. When I end a call, its always automatically disabled speaker for me

Stuck in speakerphone mode? Never heard that one.

As mentioned, press the OP button (right side; top row) to enable/disable the speakerphone (once you are in a call).

It's in the online help system on the 8100 itself.
