Default Can't delete media file on 8130?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I just bought a 8gb microsd card and formatted it in the blackberry and then put some songs and video files on the card but I can't delete the files off the card through my blackberry. It gives me a file system error Even with the videos I made with the blackberry. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

welcome to the forums. try performing a hard reset on the device by removing the battery for 30 seconds. also make sure under options > media card > encryption is turned off.

wait also this file(s) could still be in use. make sure you dont have the media player still running in the background with the file open because then u wouldnt be able to delete it.

Smile Thanks

Thanks for the quick replies. I tried both ideas and now it works. Also it is easier to delete the file from the media card explor menu. Thanks again
