Hello! I am new to this Website so bear with me lol. well I was wondering Is there (are there) and programs that are free (For the pearl 8100) that are for AIM and MSN? that both use SMS text message instead of data. you see i received my pearl as a gift. I had a Razor before. and i don't have a BB plan of any sort. i only have unlimited Txt and all the basics. i really don't need the internet and the Email on my phone anyways for i am 17 xD. So yes what are/is an application(s) that use TXT instead of Data that is MSN or AIM.

There's only one to my knowledge and you have the file on your pearl, but it isn't set up. The downside is you need to download it, so you need a data plan. Other than that to my knowledge most of them uses data, because people try to steer away from text messages cause they usually get unlimited data.

The thing I don't understand is why get a blackberry if you not going to get a data plan, because that's what they are made for.
