Default Question about email messages

I have my yahoo and gmail emails set up on my 8130 and get message alerts when I get an email. Does this count as a text message or is that just part of the BB unlimited internet??

Email is part of the unlimited data.

If you are also getting a message alert, from your yahoo account to tell you that you have an email, you need to see on yahoo where you set that alert up, it could SMS or email, according to what you set it to do.

I have my email and MMS/SMS alerts set as separate. So I think I got it.
