Default i was unclear....

sorry,
i was unclear in the way i asked my question...but i think plasticities figured out what i was geting at....

i want it so that it doesn't "lock" up....so i want to "disable" the "keyboard lock". I do understand how to get out of it (*, then green phone button), but i don't want that function present at all...

i tried plasticities recommendation, but it isn't on "Options<autolock..."

help

thanks in advance!

options > security options > general > lock when holstered > off. see if that takes care of your issue.

i forgot for a second that autolock is a 3rd party app that doesn't come with the phone.

with sith's suggestion try turning that option on then back off again. has this happened since you've had the phone? try a battery pull or soft reset? if that doesn't work i would do what mike suggested
