Question Sending Data Via Bluetooth

Please Login to Remove!

My husband owns a Motorola Razr V9m and I have the Pearl. I am able to send data (pics, etc) to his phone via bluetooth, but he cannot send it to mine. I also am unable to communicate between my palm TX and Pearl. Does anyone have any tips that may assist me?

ok are the phones all from the same carrier? (i.e verizon) if not then certain carriers and phones put restrictions as to what can be sent and received using bluetooth.

Both of our phones have the same carrier. My palm pilot links to my homebased wireless internet to connect to the web.

I know when I had a Razr v3m, Bluetooth transfer was just plain disabled... I went into the software with a seem editor and enabled it, so I could send stuff, but I still had a hard time receiving anything. It may be the same type of situation? Odd to think that it happens with both a razr and a palm, but anything is possible?

I know for a while I had a hard time with my bluetooth on my pearl also, it didn't work for like a week to send anything, but then it started working again after 8 or so resets? Try doing a hard reset on your pearl? You never know what that can solve =P
