I have a Pearl 8130 with Verizon and the stock OS.

Went to "Options", "Advanced Options", "Default Services".

Set my Calendar (CICAL) and Messaging (CMIME) both to my Gmail account and saved.

When I compose an email and leave it on "Default" after typing in the "To" field the "Default" switches to my Verizon Blackberry email.

Am I doing something wrong since my Gmail isn't the default?

You very well may not be doing anything wrong.

The BB will default to the "send from" email address it last used for that contact to send from.

So, there isn't a way to set a new default email for all contacts? I will have to change the address manually on each email that I send?
