Default Deleting Emails in Inbox

Please Login to Remove!

I am a newbie...
I am running BES/MS Exchange thru Mailstreet and Outlook 2007
BB Pearl 8100
I was wondering if emails deleted from BB get deleted from My inbox so i did a little test back and forth. Forgive my OCD
Messages I deleted from My BB were deleted on My inbox(PC) This is good.
But if I delete messages on PC they are not deleted on BB.
I have reconciled purged deleted Items.
FYI
I am running a pop3 account on Outlook in addition to exchange
So on BB I have
Pop3 and BB account

Is there any help for me?

On the BES account, it should delete, no problem.

On the BIS account POP account, it may or may not according to the email server. Gmail, Yahoo and some POP accounts hosted by GoDaddy have two-way delete. And even so, the delete from server to BB may take a few hours.
On the BIS account, you can't delete from a desktop PC Outlook to the BB (unless Outlook is deleting from the server as well, and hence it will to the BB). There may be a few other exceptions to the general rules, but that is basically it.

Also I did have messages to delete on server checked for leave for 5 days

There is still messages I deleted on my BB
What should Message services under Email Reconciliation be set to...
I have three choices

and my POP3
Could this affect my issue?

BIS is what BES isn't, You are using one service or the other.

So, it sounds like the POP3 account you are running might be on BIS, if you set it up to push to the BB from your ATT account?

Default Synch Delete of emails

Thanks for your help,
I went to the glossary and now understand what BIS is.
I am accessing my Pop acct through Yahoo/sbc/att... on outlook.
Perhaps my problem is that I also have that setup as a POP acct on my BB?
Downloaded Empower BES mailbox hoping that might work.
Still the emails that I deleted in Outlook are in my blackberry.
They were emails sent to my POP account.
Any thoughts would be helpful.
Thanks again

You may need to go into the settings in the BB from inbox->options-> email reconciliation and change the option "Delete on" Mailbox and Handheld.

I am on BES and oddly, now that you mention it, deletions on my BB occur almost immediately in Outlook, but to delete from Outlook and have it disappear from the BB you actually have to sync the device using DTM. Sorry about the confusion.

I am on BES and all our BB users have DTM installed on the notebooks/desktops. It really is an essential tool to keep the BB fresh, up-to-date and smelling nice!
