Exclamation 8130 - no click?

Please Login to Remove!

My Verizon 8130 will load up, but will not allow me to click on any of my applications or allow me to open up my application menu. I tried a battery pull, but it does the same. I get the white screen with the hour glass, the OS loads up, verifies security and that's all. I can scroll to my apps that are visible, but stuck at the same point again. When i receive a phone call, the caller ID will load up, show me who is calling, but wont allow me to answer the call.

Can someone please help? (I tried a search, but it lead me to nowhere.) Should I try to load the OS thru desktop manager?

That sounds like a hardware issue. If the device is still under warranty then you should be able to get it replaced.

1. Is the 8130 under 30 day trial period? if so then do an exchange

2. Change the track speeds to around 50 and see if that works. I had the click failing when I moved oevr to call logs and it would do nothing, but then when i hit the 'end call' [red button], i could move my scroll wheel again.

1. It's not under the 30 day trial period - thou it is under warranty and I have phone insurance

2. I can't change the track speeds because the phone wont allow me to open anything. I can not click on anything at all. (Unless there is another way to change the speed)

In most instances you can press ENTER instead of clicking the track ball.

If you pull out the battery has the moisture indicator changed colour? Keypad failures are often the result of liquid damage.
