is there a program for your computer that is just for syncing the address book on a blackberry? not like outlook or anything like that, but an actual program made just for the address book.

Not sure what you are asking. Are you aware of Desktop Manager and you are asking for something else?

By the definition of sync, you are syncing to something like Outlook.

If you are not familiar with desktop manager, download and take a look. There are options other than Outlook, incliding Yahoo and Outlook Express.

I've had an 8100, 8300, 8310, and I'm now onto the 8120. I am quite familiar with the desktop manager.

I'm asking if there is a specific program (for the actual computer) made for the blackberry address book, that you can easily type addresses and stuff into and then sync it back into your phone. I don't wanna use outlook or anything like that. I'm just wondering if there is a 3rd party program that you're able to do this?

I'll defer to others. As far as I know, desktop manager and a compatabile PIM application is your only option.

I don't mind using the desktop manager. I just wanted to know if there is a 3rd party program that is just for the address book to make it easier instead of bigger programs like outlook. I wasn't sure if they've developed one since the Pearl and Curve have been more popular this year
