Post My sms messages are self deleting. Why?

Please Login to Remove!

I have had my phone a couple days now and I text quite often and everything seemed to be normal. Today i sent a text and immediately after it was sent, it got deleted automatically. Does anyone know why this is happening. I haven't changed the settings at all but it did just start today. I am only concerned because I'm still in my first 30 days with the device and I've heard stories about emails and address contacts deleting and I want to know if this could be the beginning of a big problem.

Im so sorry guys but i have a confession. When i first got the pearl i set the settings to hide all sent sms messages upon sending. It just did not start working until today. I disabled it and they all reappeared. I have corrected this problem but one question about john clarks post, will all this info work with a mac computer or is this " windows" compatible info.
