Default What's the benefit of wifi?

Maybe this is in the wrong place, but it seems that the only difference between the 8130 and 8120 Pearls is that the 8120 has wifi and the 8130 has GPS.

What exactly does wifi on your blackberry allow you to do besides connect to the internet via wifi when you're in a hotspot? Seems kinda cool because you'd have a better connection in hotspots, but I think GPS is more handy (even though I won't pay for it).

8120 is a GSM (EDGE) device - the 8120 will not work on Verizon.
8130 is CDMA.

A bit more difference.
