Question Pearl 8100 and DM

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I am a nubie to the BB world, and I have managed to muddle thru with nearly everything.

One question I have is about installing the OS onto my computer. Where do I install it: on the (computer) desktop? into the BB Desktop manager? Just where, if you could direct me, I would appreciate it!

thanks,
miki

Among other things, one thing is to free up unnecessary memory items that are not needed like languages. I can't seem to do it from the handheld and have read around in different places to load the OS onto the desktop and access the handheld's memory that way.

install it as you would any other stand-alone app on your PC. consider it totally separate from Desktop Manager.
