welcome to the forums. if the phone is from the same carrier you can call them and get them to reset it. if it is not, contact the seller and have them call and have their BIS account deleted by their carrier.

its with a different carrier.
and i contacted the seller but the email wasn't set up by them. it seems it has been bought from the original seller and sold again.
is there any other way to do it ?
would my current provider be able to do it ?

if i put a sim from the original carrier in to the phone, called up and asked them to reset it... would i then be able to put the new sim in and set it up ?
or would i face the same problem ?

you can call and see if they can, or if they can get you in contact with RIM.
