Thought I'd say hello! and does anyone understand BB messenger? How do I add people?

You need their PIN #. Ask them to go to options>status>pin #. Add the PIN to your address book under their name. Then go to BB Messenger and "add to contact" via PIN. It will give you the option to add them via "PIN" or "email" if you have this in your address book.

actually you can you use any email address that has been setup on the BIS account for that device, assuming the user setup the email accounts correctly. either way you can use PIN or email.

YES, you can use email HOWEVER, most people have reported more problems & issues when using email. Using PIN is recommended over using email.
