Right out of the box, my new Pearl had about 13MB memory free after I got it from the store. Over the week-end I will give it a scrub using the info in the "Optimize your BB! How To Setup for max free memory!" post I found on this forum http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ee-memory.html

In the meantime, is there anything else I can do to free up some memory? Is there a routine that I need to go through regularly to clean up cache, stuff like that? It's been hovering between 13 and 15 MB free all the time and that seems a bit low for a 64MB memory device.

Menu>options>Advanced Options>Applications (Delete the sample video) that will give you a little wiggle room until you can optimize it.

Hmmm... can I delete languages through the setup wizard? I just went through it and I did not see that option, just select language and that was all. Is there anything I missed?
