Default Just AIM

I have the OZ program that has aim, yahoo, icq, and yahoo messengers, and tried to get just the aim, but said my carrier did not support it...anyway around this, all I really want is a full version of aim on my phone, not the watered down version of OZ (which only gives you contacts that are on your mobile category).

Good question and comment. Is SMS the reason why I get charged a "txt msg" everytime I send or receive an instant message? I would have thought it was the "internet" and thus was a way around txt messages?!

Sprint is the only carrier that has teamed up with BB to offer a full version of AIM. I use IM+ for my AIM and it works great. You can actually see which contacts are online, make yourself invisible, etc.
