well, i've had my bb for well over two years now, and i've been able to figure out all technical difficulties
except for my current one
heres the story:
my bb pearl was low on battery today, so i decided to turn it off
when i tried to turn it back on, the red LED flashes,1-2 seconds pass, then the white screen+hour glass thing pops up, lasts for about 5-7 seconds, then the bb shuts off. repeat ad infinitum
heres what i've tried:
plugging it into the charger-----> same results
plugging into charger w/o battery---->this thing appears (no battery)

any ideas?

2 years may be time for a new BB.

Maybe try a wipe with JL_CMDER and reload the OS

Agreed, start with the battery then if that is not the issue reload.

i think i have to get a new bb
because it won't stay "on" long enough to even connect to the computer, so that eliminates wiping it =\
