Quick question:

Just got the Pearl yesterday and set it up with my Yahoo e-mail account. A problem I encountered is that every time I receive an e-mail it also goes to my text message folder. Is there any way to make that stop and have e-mail just come into the e-mail folder only? Thanks for all the help.

Try this, goto your messages-BB menu key and select options-general options-scroll down to SMS and Email inboxes and choose separate. Hope this helps.

maxik, the folder titles "Messages" will collect ALL email, PIN messages, and SMS/MMS. You can separate out the SMS/MMS as cliff described... I would recommend hiding your yahoo-only email folder, and using the main messages folder and a separate SMS/MMS folder.

Oh, I didn't even realize the message folder collected ALL the messages. I guess it will take a little while getting used to the new toy.

I used both advices and it did the trick. Thanks a lot for all the help.
