Default Call Log purge

Please Login to Remove!

probably been asked but new to this forum. got my 8130 about a month ago, then another 6 days later. entire call and message history randomly deleted multiple times. new phone and software upload seemed to correct this until a couple days ago when it started again. same day no vibrate or ringing for anything. only way i knew i got call/message/alert was the light. only remedy was removing battery. what's up with this? i suppose i can live with the occasional burp but my call records are important. any suggestions?

thanks!

thanks for the tips. i don't know... maybe i'm just slow... i have a 4g card, all media is on it, all the rest, and it still just randomly purges all records. blackberry acknowledged a problem shortly after i got the phone. said the software was corrupted so they gave me a new phone and it's happened again. frustrating.

it has to do with low memory, not a bad device. go into options > status and post your file free please.

2. Select the Pictures icon.
3. Select the Device Memory icon.
4. Press the Menu key, select Options.
5. Change the Device Memory Limit to 12MB.
6. Press the Menu key, select Save.
7. Hard Reset the BlackBerry.

hook the device up to desktop manager and do application loader. you should see anything installed (do you need help, brickbreaker, tasks, memos, etc?)

gmail application or gmail pushed? the only reason for the gmail app is to search for old email and if you dont have a BB data plan (though you have VZW so you have to have one)
