Default Where Can I Find a Main Circuit Board?

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, so I purchased a Pearl for a not particularly small sum and the buyer didn't tell me that it actually has water damage, and as a result, a dead USB port. I've gone through both official and unofficial channels to try and get my money back but to no avail. So, I'm not getting my money back. I'm stuck with a phone that is in in poor cosmetic condition and can't charge, but has a working camera, screen, keyboard, microphone and headphone (plus 2 working batteries). I need a replacement main circuit board, but I have no idea where or how to get it. I refuse to make this a complete and total loss, so I'm hoping that somebody can provide me with guidance.

you are going to have to purchase a completely new device is my guess. RIM would be the only ones that has the entire circuit board assembled.

Also, try HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, Canada’s Cellular Repair Center . They are reputable and the owner is a member here. PM BBF member ShapelessBB and see if he can fix you up.

I found a solution! Not only does a store on ebay provide replacement USB ports I can also charge the device (which was the most obvious problem) through I dock I just got for another phone (8320). Looks like it might be useable, if not the best specimen of its kind.
