Text Messaging Problems
 

In my text message folder I have gotten a few checkmarks that show a Small Black "D" over the checkmark. Can someone enlighten me on what this means?

Delivered. Thats a good thing.

I have never seen this before.

I'll admit, I have only noticed them when sending pin messages, but thats what it means.

Yeah only ever see them with PIN messages or BBM (which is PIN as well)

You sure your not sending pins?

I dont know anyones PIN's, and texts are going to a RAZR.

D-Delivered appears on most SMS, it did on my TMo account, it never has on my AT&T account.

This is the first ones I have seen on my TMO, and I have sent over 5k in text messages this month.

I have verizon, and when sending a text message the "D" will appear over the check mark when the network recognizes that your message has been delivered to the phone of someone on the same network.

IE: Verizon to Verizon---when i send my friend a message, as soon as they get it (granted we are both verizon) and their phone receives the message, a "D" will appear over the check mark on my phone.

lol i called up verizon yesterday asking about new plans that they had and they guys says let me look at your montly usage and apparently i have used over 17,350 texts this past month!! 8-) thanks you verizon for unlimited texting

Yea, Tmobile called me when I did 400 texts in on the first day after I got my blackberry, thank god they did that. Otherwise I would be screwed.

I get them all of the time when sending MMS or SMS to other Verizon customers.
