I am new to the thread and the pearl...when im texting or typing in a web address i dont want it to predict what im typing i just want it to type what i type, i already turned off the predict setting under the language settings what else do i need to do? thanks!

Switch to MulitiTap if you prefer... Options > Language > input Method.

If you just want to turn off predictive text it is:
Options -> Language scroll down to Input at the bottom and uncheck Predictive Input again at the bottom.
