Default Timing of call forwarding to voicemail (8100)

Please Login to Remove!

I want to lengthen the time that an incoming call is waiting before going through to voicemail, but I can't find anything in the documentation that shows you?

Can anyone help?

Provided that BT has not set an option at the switch to override the settings, you can change the time by following the following:

*61*[dest]*[sec]#

[dest] being the phone number of your voicemail system and [sec] being the amount of seconds (*NOT THE NUMBER OF RINGS*) you want the voicemail to pick up.

Good luck

PS More info can be found at: h**p://w*w.geckobeach.com/cellular/secrets/gsmcodes.php

Unfortunately, it didn't work. I'll contact my provider. Many thanks for the help though.
