After reading many reviews and trying many earpieces myself, I have settled (for now) on the Plantronics 520 as it's loud enough for me to hear with my not so great hearing and seems to be clear most of the time to the people I'm speaking to.

Under device properties, I've gone in and set encryption to disabled, trusted to yes and echo control to on. I had read one post that said to set the echo control to off but when I did the people that I was speaking to said they could hear their own voices coming back at them. That stopped when I set the echo to on. Funny though, first day i used it everyone said I sounded pretty good to them. Second day everyone said I sounded crappy but it was a rainy day. Could bad weather be a factor? Are there any other settings that I should be concerned with?
