Default Problems with 8110 on tmobile uk

Please Login to Remove!

my 8110 basically doesnt let me get on internet by gmail, miniopera and stuff like that. I only can get online by the tzones. So im just wondering if anyone knows the TCP or APN settings for tmobile uk?
also, I cant use google map. It freezes every single time when i press on the icon. I tried to reinstall it multiple times. I even install another OS on this forum on 8110 but no luck.

Please help. thanks

One more thing, I want to try to retore my 8110 to its factory conditions. I have read other posts about this but my 8110 does have a "wipe out" option is security options->General settings

You need to set up the APN. Options, Advanced, TCP

APN: general.t-mobile.uk

I resolved the google maps prob by calling the customer service centre. The Techey there switched me on in minutes, all working now.

Just make sure you understand how you're being charged. T-Mobile's "Web & Walk" (essentially unlimited data) should be fine but if you don't have that on your plan, work out when/if you'll start being charged by the KB. Apps like Google Maps and Opera can pull a fair amount of data...
