Is it possible to make it so i dont receive a message for each missed call along with a notification that i missed the call?

go to the phone and press menu>options>call logging

and set it to "none"

I dont understand what you mean by go to "phone" i walked over to my phone if thats what you ment but i dont have a menu button

I meant go to the phone app on your blackberry. You can either scroll to the icon that looks like a phone, or press the send key.

then press the menu button. that's the button with the dotted blackberry logo on it next to the trackball.

Then go the "call logging"

Then select "none"

I asked that same question, and did the same...then I started having the problem with the voice mail icon not going away. I went back to getting the missed call message, and the voice mail icon problem (which others have reported) went away. I haven't decided to test that yet since it may have been coincidence. But if you notice it, please let us all know. thanks.
