Just bought (actually we split the cost 50/50) our daughter a BB Pearl. Wish I hadn't because now I want one!

Anyway, quick question: when she sends me an email, a message is posted to the receiver asking if it is okay to notify the sender that I have received the message. I see the same message from other email programs.

How do we turn that off?

Have her go to Messages >Options >Email Settings and set Confirm Delivery and Confirm Read and Send Read Receipts to "No."

Go into the email on the BB, the options, then email settings, confirm delivery, read and read receipts off.
