Default Okay, how to get on the net?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello again,

I scanned through the FAQ's and did not see this topic.

My daughter can send and receive email, but how do we access the web from the BB pearl?

Thanks,

Jim

There should be an icon that says "Browser". If there is not try resending the service books. Go to Options>Advanced Options>Host routing table, press menu, and select "Register Now"

This should resend them.

Okay, I'm lost. What books should I have sent?

And she cannot find the options suggested - the advance tools option.

Learning something new here! Thanks for your help.

Try looking in Settings / Options.
You want to find Advanced Options and then Host Routing Table.

Then press the menu button and select Register Handheld.

Okay, totally lost here. I'm driving now instead of talking to her.

I am playing with the BB and I can find the browser. However, I cannot find anything about settings or options. Where are these located?

Thanks,

Jim

If it has a BlackBerry Browser on it, then you should be all set to go.

yes, if you get the the browser, hit the key on the left of the trackball, select Go To... and you can enter the website in from there

Okay folks, quick update.

A phone call to VZW customer support solved our current problems. There may be more, so I will still be hanging around.

Thanks for your help thus far.
