Unhappy Vibrate profile yet allow certain calls come through?

Please Login to Remove!

Actually I have a few questions (phone 8130 pearl, New BB Member!)

1. I was wondering if there is any way to set up the vibrate or silent profile, yet allow certain contacts to have an audio ring. I work a lot of midnighters and turn my phone on silent when I go to bed, yet still would like if my GF or work calls to hear it and have it wake me up. Any suggestions?

2. I don’t use the MMS messaging, is there anyway to delete it, or would that be a stupid move?

3. Can I turn off the predictive text when I am trying to enter a website address?

4. Are there any instructions out there to define exactly what all the stock icons are actually to be used for…. Task, calendar, search, maps, etc…..? Just got the phone from using the razor and love it, just a handful at first!

Any help is always appreciated!

Wirelessly posted (blackberry 950)

1) Yes go to profiles then to advanced you can ceate exceptions for contacts so that they ring versus vibrate

2) Mms is native to device if ya don't use it just leave it be

3) Yes you can turn of predictive text I'd recommend leaving it on though as it will learn as you use it

4) Check out the BlackBerryFAQ

I did the weatherbug.... But when i go to activate it, it ask for my #. I type it in and hit the blackberry button for next and it says.... Error this key was not set up for this device.....? I can still just click the weatherbug and see the weather but i wanted to find a weather icon that would tell me up to date weather temp for my area??? Any ideas

Also for some reason i can't seem to get rid of the (push) Weather channel Weather that wasn't working?

I went to the options and deleted Erie as the location i wanted and pulled the bat. yet its still on my screen... Any ideas?

******Nevermind i answered my own questiong while lookin at another post. You have to delete the push saved web-address inorder to get rid of it off your screen. I found the BBtoday App that has the weather and use it now instead of weather bug. IT seems fairly up to date and accurate.
