Default I know this will be a redundant post re: time

Yeah yeah I'm a noob. I must admit that I love my pearl so much more than the smartphone I had before. I love everything except that I have to change the time every time I travel to a new timezone, which happens a lot in my profession. It appears it's an issue I'll have to live with although I have no idea what RIM was thinking. Despite all this, is there by chance any update or workaround for this BB/Network time not updating problem?

this is a topic that has been discussed time and time again. there is no work around for this because it isnt a problem. You will find that most here like it this way.

As far as I know, there is no work-around for this.

This bugs me too. Everyone says it's so appointment reminders come up at the proper time, but I don't buy that since appointments have a time zone associated with them, so the phone should know when to properly fire the reminder, regardless of what time zone you are in.

I sent RIM a suggestion as such, but received no reply.

Thanks all. I imagine this has been debated forever so I'll drop it and learn to like it. It's not difficult to change the time anyway.
