Default 8130 and battery change?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,
On my 8130 Pearl, is there a trick regarding changing batteries w/o having a reset? Like leave it plug into the chager or the computer?
Mine wears out by the end of day sometimes and I change batteries, but it does a reset and it takes some of programs back to base start.
Not a biggie, but i was wondering.

Thanks,

Nope not that I know of..... Once you take out the battery it does a hard reset. You could purchase the battery from Seidio...

Wirelessly posted

Does that SEIDIO battery last that much longer for the cost?

Thanks,
I am not sure if you risk damage to the device but I think you can connect it to the charger and swap batteries without a reset. Question....why don't you just charge it here and there throughout the day to top it off?
