I just upgraded my OS on my pearl to 4.2.1.96 and I am now not getting notification when new e-mail arrives. Before my unit always vibrated when new e-mail was received but now it does nothing.

I have gone in to edit the normal profile and I don't see any obvious indication of where to change the notification settings for e-mail so I have simply set everything to vibrate but still get nothing when new messages arrive other than the red blinking light.

Any help would be appreciated.

The one with your email address stated is the one you want to edit, both IN and OUT of holster settings.

There is not one with my e-mail address which might be part of the problem, I dont recall ever having seen my e-mail address in there.

It seems like the account is not set up. If your on BIS, log into the site your service provider gave you and click the "send service books" through to your phone or if your on BES, contact your administrator maybe?
