MMS can be buggy on a Tmo and a BB... you will see a number of threads here about that, but you should be receiving better than one in 20.

Have you pulled your battery to reboot your BB lately? With power on, remove, hold, replace and reboot. Does wonders for the most mystical of little glitches in a BB!

Welcome to the forums!! I agree with JS...TMO w/BB MMS is flakey. If your friends are willing you might have them try smaller picture formats (you might have better luck).

Enjoy!

I have... I spoke with T-Mobile people today. Apparently, this is a big thing with the Blackberry Pearl and their network... Don't know.. There was not much she could do for me though...

Just wish I had known that before I bought the phone....

Just get all your friends to by Blackberry's and then you can send Pics via BB Messenger and not have to worry about TMO's MMS service!

What other programs do you have running in the background? I have found that on my Pearl 8100 on T-Mobile that if you have any programs running that use TCP (like Opera Mini, Viigo or JiveTalk) then I have to close those out, disable and then re-enable the wireless radio, then try to either send or retrieve the MMS message. And it works every time. Even if the program isn't actively running, but had run after you sent the last MMS, I have found I still have to disable and then re-enable the wireless radio.

I use to always get the red X next to sent MMS messages, or get a message that the MMS message could not be retrieved.

I received an MMS message/photo and what I got was a code to go to US Cellular's web site and retrieve the photo. Is that because it was too large? I never had a problem with the Nokia, but I guess this is the BB limit? Or is there some other reason I would have to retrieve the message from their web site?
