I'm running vista and when I run the sprint software to tether I get a dial up networking error 678. Anyone know what this is? Never had an issue before.

I am not using Vista, but did get the DUN 678 a lot when I first tried to use tethering. I called Sprint and they either removed/readded the PAM feature or 'refreshed' my device in their system and it started working.

Has it worked for you before and now you're using a different PC (i.e., going from XP to Vista)?

I've used vista for awhile.it worked a few weeks ago then all of a sudden I'm getting the error.

If you are running Vista, on the PC search for Error Codes or search for error code 678 and see what it says. (I know you can do this, I had problems with Alltel tethering.)
