I did a search of the site - but couldn't find an answer. I use my BB as a "pager" with work and my office/answering service will send me messages to the phone as SMS messages. However, they show up on my phone as a long list of messages when I click on one of them (they are parsed by day and separated by lines). When I try to forward or delete a single message for a given day - the phone will forward/delete the first one on the list, not the one the cursor is on. When I click the trackball on a certain message it doesn't select it, it just remains as a list.

What I'd like to do is have each separate SMS be a separate entry on the phone which I could manage individually. I'm sure there is some setting I'm missing - but I can't find it. I have an 8130 with Verizon and my emails and SMS's are combined.

Any thoughts?

go into your messages > menu > options > general options > seperate SMS and MMS > set to seperate

I don't get any MMS messages - just emails and SMSs. Will separating out the two allow me to individually select SMSs to manage them (forward/delete) regardless of order received?

Tried separating the MMS/SMS and it didn't make a difference. Same with the email/SMS/MMS separation.
