Default Profile settings

Please Login to Remove!

I like to use my 8120 as a morning alarm clock. But, I don't want to hear the email/message alerts while I sleep, just the phone. So before bed, I go to Profiles and set to "Phone Only". Only now my morning alarm doesn't sound. I can't figure out how to edit the alarm clock in the profiles either.

Anybody?

Profiles > scroll down to Advanced > Edit your desired profile.

You can edit just the Alarm setting in the Alarm.

There's no "Alarm" category when I edit the Profile. Is it a sub-category under one of the main categories?

BTW I personaly find the alarmapp to simple and inflexible: I use calandarappointments with a duration of zero minutes and a reminder at 0. Just an idea.

Nothing in the alarm application either. I don't think my request is possible. Or, I'm really thick.

You can set a profile, a new profile, to quieten all message alerts, and still have the phone and alarm sound, for your needs.

I set my alarm and have my profile set to phone only and it works fine for me. Check and make sure you haven't muted the alarm itself.
