Default 8120 in AT&T stores on April 17.

I have heard from an AT&T store employee that the 8120 will be launched in their retail stores on April 17.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

What is the difference between this and the earlier 8100 models?

Also a 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack.

I have not seen it but apparently if feels much more solid than the outgoing 8100.

I may switch my new 8100 for this.
What's AT&T's policy on returns in less than 30 days?

30 days you can return / exchange it. Must have box, good condition.

How much will the 8120 be? Will we need a data plan to take advantage of wifi?

Hey, I just got my At&t Pearl April 11th, 2008 at Letstalk.com for free (2 year family plan contract) and I was wondering if I could switch to the Pearl 2 for free using either letstalk or directly from AT&T?

~thanks for any reply

welcome to the forums. the pearl 2 will no doubt cost more money, any exchanges you have to make through LetsTalk.com. contact them for return policy. keep in mind that getting phones through a third party there are additional limitations on the contract. you may have additional termination fees, a minute limit on the trial period, etc.

^ Well I ASSUME that the wifi will work like T-Mobile's Curve wifi and let you (atleast) browse the web freely and (maybe) make calls without using your minutes. On another note, I'm about to call letstalk to see what they can do for me about upgrading my phone since I got it a week ago.
