I do not believe there is an option for this. You can opt to remove third party apps while wiping, but not on a reset.

there are only 2 ways to remove 3rd party apps .

one is to remove it from the device itself: options>advance options>applications>select and delete.

the other is through desktop manager.

Do you mean when you wipe all data off of the device? That is the only time I know of when it asks you if you want to include 3rd party apps.

yes, i mean completely wipe ... goto gensettings ----->menu----->wipe handheld----->select ... there appears a screen in some devices which explicitly asks for the removal of third party applications and in some devices of the same category like 8100 pearl ... it doesn't show up ... i don't think its dependent on the carrier ... i hope it is clear to u ppl now

ok.

go to options>security options>general settings>press the blackberry button>select "wipe handheld">confirm wipe by typing blackberry.

**please note that by doing this, everything will be cleared from your blackberry along with notes, calendar, contacts...everything. so you might want to perform a back-up prior to doing this**

If this is the case, where when doing this on an 8100 Pearl it does not ask you if you want to include 3rd party apps, you can (as previously stated) go into desktop manager and uninstall them, or use Jl_cmdr to wipe the device. You will see 505/507 error onscreen when complete. Then reload your OS.
