| Pearl is not being detected via USB Please Login to Remove! I just bought a Pearl 8130 and am having problems getting my computer to detect it. I plug it in to my work computer so I can setup the desktop redirector, but the desktop manager doesn't always detect it. Sometimes it will display "USB-" followed by the pin # and other times it shows as not found. I've tried different USB ports and looked for different USB drivers, but my research shows everything is up to date.
I connected it to my home computer and it worked flawlessly. What the heck? Are there specific USB drivers I need for this device?
The computer in question is an HP Compaq dx2300 Microtower.
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit:
If I can't get the USB connection to work, would it be possible to somehow manually setup the desktop redirector?
