Default Oz messanger

ok i dont have the money right now to pay for a data plan but i read that oz messenger uses sms which i have unlimited sms on my plan. the problem i have is i have an 8120 and it did not come with anything but blackberry messenger. can i put the 8100 version on the 8120 or will that not work?

The OZ messenger still requires a data plan to log in. Once logged in the individual messages are sms. Unless you have a data plan, OZ messenge won't work either.
