Default Home screen query (O2 Zen)

Hi,

I have a Pearl 8120 and the O2 Zen theme as my home screen, I've noticed something that is bugging me, I have it set up on left hand side of screen as:

Messages
Email account 1
SMS and MMS
Email account 2
Calendar
Applications

When I get an email to either account, or a text, a red symbol appears against the relevant section, and once I read the email/text, the red symbol disappears, but it doesn't disappear from messages at the top, and I have to go into messages and come out again to make the red symbol disappear.

This didn't happen with my 8100, with that phone once I had read the email/text by going into the specific email account, or SMS section, the red symbol would then disappear from both the relevant email/text section AND the messages section.

Does anyone know how to rectify this, I hope I've explained it ok!

One other thing, on the 8100 when a call came in and I didn't want to answer it I could press reject once and it wouldn't end the call it would just mute the ringing, a second press of reject would then end the call, I don't have this option with the 8120, if I press reject it simply ends the call, is there a way to change this?

Sounds like an issue with the theme. Today Plus has something similiar where once you read the message, it still says 1 Unread. Though it doesn't happen everytime but frequently. Sorry, unsure about the second question.
