Question Inbox: Select All?

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a way to select all of the messages/emails in my inbox? In order for me to delete them at the end of the day, I have to hold down the # key, then use the scroll ball to scroll down and select all the messages.

Is there a function that lets me, for example, "control+a" like on a computer?

not a "select all" function, but if you scroll to the top most date bar, you can Menu > Delete Prior.

All gone.

If you are talking about what I think you are talking about, you can just go all the way to the top and click the blackberry button then scroll to delete prior.

Thanks guys, one last question.

Do you know if it will Delete only from the handset or from the mailbox too? For example, I have my gmail account linked, so when I attempt to delete an email, it asks if I want to delete it from the handset only or both.

I want to make sure I don't use the Delete Prior option and have it delete from my gmail inbox too.

Thanks

Delete Prior will only delete from the device, and never sync the deletion to the mail account.

If you want to delete from the mailbox as well you will need to press the shift key and while holding scroll to select multiple messages. You should then have the option to delete on the handheld and mailbox.
