Got my BB8130 3 days ago and absolutely love it... (couple questions)

Is there a way to add/edit contacts via the Desktop Manager instead of inputting all that information on the BB itself? Even better, is there a way for it to read Gmail contacts?

Is there a way to block Gmail and Gtalk conversations from appearing in the "messages" box?

Yes, you put in a single contact, export it as a .CSV file and add the contacts to the file using the same format, then re-import it..

OR

you can obtain a copy of Datapilot and use that with your phone to add contacts.
