Default putting .jar games on Pearl using micro sd card? - 04-11-2008, 03:49 PM

I don't have OTA service on my phone, but I still want games on it. I've tried Brandon's converter, but it only worked with one game. I thought I heard that you could put a jar game on the micro sd card and the phone would convert it to alx for you, but I can't seem to find any more info on that. Can you do this? and if so, how?

If you can get the .jar/.jad files and save them to your SD card, then you can load the app from the SD card just as if it were being downloaded from the net. The app will still load to device memory, though.

Whoa... I had no idea you could do that.
I'm off to try it. Thanks, John.

And you might want to look at this program, which claims to let you do something similar:
